Manage the capacity for your whole event, or put a limit on how many people can register for certain attendee types or simple signup selections.

Attendee Type Capacities

On a detailed event, you can manage capacities from the Attendee Types tab by clicking Edit capacities.

Enter the capacity for the individual attendees.

Simple Signup Selection Capacities

For a simple signup event, the capacities can be found in the Selections tab. Click Edit capacities to manage the number of people allowed to register.

Enter the capacity for the individual selections. If you want to limit the entire event, update the Total capacity. The event will respect the Total capacity first, even if it's less than the total capacity of all the attendee types combined.

Troubleshooting: When Capacities are Reached

If capacities are reached, an Administrator can register someone from the Admin side, but the capacity will be raised to the new number of attendees registered for that type or for the event.

The public page, however, will not allow people to register. To allow additional registrations, update the event or attendee type capacity.

View what the public page looks like when at capacity by expanding a section below.

Event at Capacity

If the total capacity of an event that requires payments has been reached, the event will appear as Sold Out.

Free Event at Capacity

If the total capacity of a free event has been reached, the event will appear as Full.
