- No Registrations, No Email: We're cutting down on unnecessary emails. If there are no new registrations for your subscribed events on a particular day, you won't receive a daily digest. This ensures that every email we send is valuable and pertinent to your needs.
Enhanced Security Updates
- Secured Subscription Access: In a shift from the previous system where anyone could be added to the notification list via a manually inputted email, our new system enhances security by requiring that individuals have a Planning Center profile to subscribe and receive these notifications. This change ensures that sensitive event information is only accessible to authenticated users, enhancing privacy and security.
- Clear Boundaries on Access: It’s important to note that adding someone as a subscriber does not grant them any administrative privileges. Subscribers will receive updates about event activities but will not have administrative access to manage the events themselves. This distinction helps maintain security while keeping the necessary people informed about new registrations and changes to existing registrations.
Consistent Updates for Other Notifications
While new registrations are now bundled into a daily digest, you'll continue to receive real-time notifications for individual cancellation actions, consolidated alerts when an admin uses the "Cancel all Registrations" feature, and immediate updates for partial payments. These notifications ensure you remain promptly informed about important actions affecting your events.
